FAQs

Juicyness (10)

Can I buy the art as-is?

Yes. JuicyCanvas gives you the option to customize each piece as profoundly as you like, with the understanding that some users fall in love with a print at first sight. So if you want to buy a piece as-is, we recommend you resize it to fit 100% of the size of your chosen canvas.. and voilà!

Can I customize a piece from a smartphone or tablet?

We’re getting there. Plans have already been set in motion to make JuicyCanvas a completely mobile-friendly platform. Stay-tuned!

Can I use my custom-made art for my business’s marketing?

No. Your creation has limited usage rights. Modifying and/or purchasing a custom print does not mean you have been given the artist’s original copyrights.

You do have the right to share your customized piece online via the social buttons that are on our site. You are also only entitled to the physical product(s) that you’ve purchased. Nothing more.

Please take a look at our easy-to-read copyright terms here.

Will the colors of the actual print match what I see on my computer?

We have made every effort to ensure that the images on our site will be consistent with their physical manifestations. However, since colors can vary in appearance from screen to screen, and from device to device, we cannot guarantee a 100% accurate translation. Personally, we think each piece looks even better in person.

What is printed on the sides of the stretched canvas?

For now, custom canvases feature your choice of a solid color.
We’ll soon be offering the option to have the image wrap-around or mirror it.

How thick is the Stretched Canvas?

A stretched canvas is 1.5 inches thick and is framed with the finest high quality wood.

What is a Stretched Canvas?

Otherwise, know as Giclee (pronounced “zhee-clay”) which is the process of making high resolution fine art prints from a digital source using ink-jet printing. The word “giclee” is derived from the French language word “le gicleur” meaning “nozzle”, or more specifically “gicler” meaning “to squirt, spurt, or spray.”

That’s why we use the highest quality canvas, stretcher bars, and printers in the industry.

We take pride in building you a treasured canvas that you’ll be able to admire for many years to come.

All canvases are individually trimmed and hand stretched gallery wraps over 1-1/2″ deep,  100% wooden stretcher bars.

The sides can be any color you choose ( mirrored-image and wrap-around *coming soon )

All canvases are prepared with hanging hardware and are ready to hang on your wall.
